The Maidstone Pumas have a proud history dating back to 1987, and it is our aim to become the premier American Football Club in the South East of England. The club was originally founded as a Youth team. However, since 1997 the Pumas have played at Adult level as a member of The British American Football Association (BAFA).
Maidstone Pumas Unveil New Head Coach
Maidstone Pumas are pleased to announce the appointment of Rory Hunte as Head Coach of the adult team. Coach Hunte has a history in Britball going back to the pioneering days of the of the mid 1980’s when he played at Safety for the Greenwich Rams. Coach Hunt brings a wealth of experience and coaching talent to the Pumas gained during his various coaching appointments. He has also had the benefit of some tremendous coaching education from the likes of Howard Mudd, the then O-Line coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and Marty Schottenheimer whilst he was Head Coach of the Cleveland Browns. The Pumas are continuing with our development plans by opening a club shop. Now our members, staff, supporters and ex-players can easily purchase T-Shirts, Polo Shirts, Hoodies and Hats (and more will shortly follow) from the shop and pay by credit card or paypal.
