Ted Smith has had a long career in British American Football, starting as Team Manager of the Hertfordshire Stags, before moving into Coaching with the Kent Exiles and BCAFL's Greenwich Mariners.
Team Manager Stuart Crowley said "I have known Ted for some years and recognized that he has a lot to offer, with this appointment we not only strengthen our coaching team, but we also have an experienced and knowledgeable administrator, who will be able to offer advice and support to myself and the committee. I am confident that we are putting in place the foundations of an improving organization."

Alan Lear coached for 10 years at both junior and youth level then spent a further 2 as a Defensive Backs Coach for Southampton Stags where he helped to win the College Bowl XX in 2006 (and he wears his Championship ring with great pride!).
The Stags had this to say about him "Alan's experience, patience and teaching skills were vital in 2004, working with the team to develop several youth first year players".
Alan joined us for our 2006 season, working with our DB's and has quickly made his mark.

Mark Lawrence has limited experience as a coach but has been a loyal Puma since he was 15, playing in many positions during his time with the youth outfit the 'Kent Pumas' then as a Corner Back for 8 seasons with the seniors team. In the opening game of 2006 Mark was injured and sadly his playing days are over. "I am determined to still play a big part in this team that I love, with the support of the great coaches around me and I look forward to the challenges ahead".
The Maidstone Pumas are currently seeking potential coaches for both our senior and youth programmes, prior expierence is not essential. If you are at all interested then please contact Stuart Crowley on 07961 924654 or by email to Stoogie53@aol.com
